A silver wolfes hopped up onto a large ice berg, her teal-green eyes scanning the horizon. She had heard of this place only in wolven songs and now here she was, in the lands of the Tundra. She hopped over to another ice chunk and then another and another, ismply for thej opy of doing so. She was a free wolfess, her dubbing was Aurora, and like the Northern Lights she had both beauty and grace in her lithe dancers step. Her odd eyes gazed down into the icy waters and she smiled at her reflection before finally lieing down, tired from her fun.

A crushed looking figure trembled at the ice end. Ice blocks nearby sometimes ran into the air with a clunk into her ears, the vibrations almost knocking her off the ice and into the water. She her looks, you'd've throught she was hurt or just got back from being beated with a hammer, or something. Her silver coat was not glossy as it once was. It was wirey and chunks where only holdin go on by the static between other hairs pulling it in, barely concealing some of her many bruises and cuts. She had many scars on her bod, the one most noticable when you met her on her face, pushing some hair out of the way to expose a nasty gash. But it was not her worst.

Her optics scanned the ice, looking around to see if she was alone. Her optics suddenly passed over the sight of another wolf. She withdrew, thinking of her brother, and then went right again, seeing as the wolf was white. She sighed, and almost grudgingly, put her paws into the air to jump on an ice block. She landed shakily, the rock hard peice of ice jumping up and down, as if bucking. She whimpered slightly until it was over. The injured soul then looked to another, planning to conquer her fears of these ice blocks today.

She jumped again, bust faulted on the jump, slipping on wet, sleek ice. She flailed, and then fell, her nose down to her shoulers above the waters, the rest under, and scratching the ice franically, trying to grip the ice. The ice block slowing began to turn, until it was straight up. Silver squealed slightly, knowing what would happen next. She let go, and went under, holding herself the best she could. A sudden blast came from the surfice as the ice fell down. But then another blast, but this one of sound... Something passed her... She yelped (Only bubbles came) And began wiggling towards the surfacem, trying to get on an ice block. She couldn't, they were too slippery...

She suddenly felt something sweep passed her, and something touched the surface, but it was no head nor tail... A long, stick like horn protruded from the waters, and exposed itself to the earth. Silver let out a terrifying, spine chilling scream/howl. She saw a head come up, with the beety black eyes, like bruning coal. She tried to get up, now frantically, yelping and clawing the ice, which seemed impossible to climb now.

Aurora's head rose as the silver wolfess shakily hopped from rock to rock. Her eyes grew wide as she had a mistep and the ice plunged her into the waters. Frantically, Aurora jumped up, quickly and steadily hopping from rock to rock until shake came to the edge of the callamity. She saw the black creature lunge out and she scampered back, yelping. Where was the wolfess though? Aurora didn't see her. and guessing she was still beneath the surface she lunged past the black beast. chunks of ice flieing everywhere and dived down deep into the waters/ She saw a glint of silver fur in the transulecent light, and aimed for it, her cheeks bulging as she held her breath. She made her way as best as she could over to the silver wolfes. She must be running out of air by now, because Aurora herself could hardly keep from gasping. Her jaws widened and she gripped the wolfess's neck hide and began to try to help her up toward the surface, her thin frame thrashing wildly as she struggled.
